What is
Feng Shui?
Feng
Shui translated in Chinese means "Wind Water". It was an ancient art of
deciphering the most auspicious placement of Chinese ancestral gravesites. But
now, Feng Shui has gradually evolved into a principle of harmony through design,
by creating a balance within our surroundings. The interior and exterior of
homes, businesses and gardens, health and well-being can all be enhanced through Feng Shui principles. "Good" Feng Shui can be achieved through the interplay of
energy (ch’i), intention and application. Today, Feng Shui is practiced
throughout the world, by various Schools of thought; Traditional, Compass, Form,
and BTB (Tibetan Tantric Black Hat Sect) are some of the foremost methodologies.
Feng Shui is not a science, nor a religion, but for those who practice and
believe in its premise of balancing the energy of wood, fire, earth, metal and
water; it is, indeed, a most beneficial way of life, within our world and even
beyond.
